Consider me an eclectic who loves Yoga, Music, Accounting, Russian Gourmet Cooking, Walking and Ocean Kayaking, somewhat in that order. Being a Navy brat, I "grew-up" around the world ~ yes, even in Kenitra, Morocco.

In 1991, I returned to Ewa Beach, Hawai'i. We locals fondly call this "EwaNevaland". See why? I took the photo from my backyard at sunrise.

PROFESSIONALS

In my family, professions include doctor(s), engineers, professors and pilots. When I was 12, my grandfather (engineer and professor) gave me my first job. For one dollar a page I was hired to type his engineering and economic manuscripts. At an early age in Catholic school I loved mathematics and easily understood some of its theory. Likewise, when I typed the pages of the manuscripts, I sometimes understood the engineering formulas. Imagine that! These formulas were used to design a dam in Wenachee, Washington.

I liked engineering, but I love accounting! My forte is designing, tailoring, and managing financial business systems so they are easily comprehended by the client. Over the years, clients have varied. During the last nine years in Hawaii, I have worked primarily on federal contract management for the Departments of: U.S. Air Force, Energy and Naval Research.
